FanDuel Added Best Ball and Regular Shake Drafts to Its Fantasy Offerings
FanDuel is the second-largest daily fantasy provider in the U.S. To continue dominating the market; they recently introduced Best Ball and Regular Snake Drafts.
Best Ball contests?carry FanDuel’s daily site fantasy football over the season. Tiny, single-entry tournaments are the Best Football Pro slates for a pooled pool of talent. Users create a fantasy squad of 20 players before and after the football season and manage that roster for the rest of the season.
There is no salary cap and one player per team, compared to other FanDuel contests. There is no swap or waiving claims as other fantasy football items over a long season. FanDuel dynamically blends the scores of the best players of the app in every role every week (9 players in total) for the week. Just 2-12 users are present at the game, and at season’s end, the person with the highest total score wins.
From last Friday on FanDuel on its website and its app offer, best ball competitions are free, and users can pick several contest sizes and entry fees from about $1.
Best Ball Commercial Will Feature Jeff Fisher
“Best Ball games are perfect for sports fans looking to play fantasy for the first time, or who love the season-long fantasy format. These contests are?a hybrid of season-long and daily fantasy, and users can draft a team once and never have to set their lineups again or watch waiver wires, which is incredibly appealing to fans of all levels,”?– stated John Griffin, FanDuel’s General Manager Fantasy.
FanDuel has launched a new commercial to promote Best Ball. The commercial features Jeff Fisher, former NFL Head Football Coach.
FanDuel will provide even regular Snake Draft tournaments for select NBA, NEHL, Golf, and MLB sports. At the beginning of September, Snake Draft Football Contests will be open. Daily Snake Drafts are lightweight, single entrance contests that require users to build a crew for each day or week of the game. The contests are simple to join. There are no pay limits, compared to?other FanDuel competitions.
In 2018 FanDuel Was Acquired by Paddy Power BetFair
FanDuel is one of the largest bookmakers and daily fantasy providers in the U.S. Based in New York City, the company was founded in 2009. Its major competition is DraftKings, which is considered as the largest DFS service in the country. Just two years ago, FanDuel was acquired by Paddy Power Betfair (now known under the name Flutter Entertainment). The Irish company merged its U.S. operations under FanDuel, aiming to leverage FanDuel’s brand and userbase.
Daily fantasy fans widely use FanDuel all across the U.S., and along with DraftKings, they are dominating the U.S. market. Devoted to continuing being one of the best, FanDuel recently decided to expand its daily fantasy products.
Best Ball was added to their range of products, and, according to FanDuel, its games are perfect for those who are looking to play fantasy for the first time. The contests that will be offered there are a hybrid of season-long and daily fantasy, which is why they are also great for those who love the season-long fantasy games.
