Happy New Year Weston! I and your City Commissioners Toby Feuer, Thomas Kallman, Margaret Brown and Byron Jaffe look forward to continuing to serve you in 2018.
We all live in Weston because we consider it a special place. That means different things to different people, but how the City is maintained is an integral part of its appeal. We have many projects underway and many in the pipeline, which help keep Weston ranked as one of the premier places to live in America.
Projects to maintain or enhance our infrastructure include upgrades to parks and City facilities such as the newly installed playground and artificial turf fields at Tequesta Trace Park; two artificial turf soccer fields and the initiation of a design for a new Community Center in Regional Park; the redesign of Indian Trace Park; the installation of a restroom at Peace Mound Park; renovations to our three Fire Stations, our Police Station and Public Works facility, and the construction of a new Fire Station in Bonaventure. These improvements are designed to maintain property values and enhance lifestyle
