Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, the awaited comedy got the theaters. Undoubtedly, the funny actor Kevin On Wednesday, April 1st, the leading character of Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, Kevin James was honored to receive a star with his name on the Walk of Fame in Bayside Marketplace, Miami, for his contribution to Miami through the movie and television.The heartthrob Eduardo Verastegui, costar, also accompanied Kevin to this event to honor the comedian, who by the way, both were driven by security escorts much like the movie Paul Blart Mall Cop 2; and with a music background “Conga”.
Kevin James reprises the role of Paul Blart, this time he has earned a deserved vacation to Las Vegas, with his daughter, performed by Raini Rodriguez, before she goes to college. During their stay at the hotel inadvertently discovers a holdup. Blart has to catch the bandits; this is where they live countless of comic experiences. It is a funny comedy for the entire family.
This production is a comedy and will be in the theaters on April 17; directed by Andy Fickman; written by Kevin James and Nick Bakay; produced by Todd Garner, Kevin James, Adam Sandler, and Jack Giarraputo. It features a cast including Kevin James, Raini Rodriguez, Neal McDonough, Shirley Knight, and a special performance of Eduardo Verastegui.
Undoubtedly, the funny actor is now the King of Miami. It is confirmed by the star dedicated to him on the Walk of Fame in Miami. We were able to talk to Kevin about the movie Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, his family life, and other projects.
CWN: Kevin, Congratulations for the new member of your family. How do you feel?
KJ: Thank you! I have 4 kids now. I got a little girl. She was 9 ponds 6 ounces. A big baby!
CWN: Kevin how do you feel starring as Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2?
KJ: I’m excited, because now I’m making movies for my kids. So mothers can bring their kids to watch the movies, feel good about it, families, I want people to have fun. Physical comedy. It’s a big one for us.
CWN: Kevin you are a comedian, an actor, a producer, and also a family man. Which of these rolls do you enjoy the most and why?
KJ: It’s going to be my family. I take care of them. It’s always going to be my family first. It’s always the way it is and everything else is going to find its place.
CWN: Do you have another plans or projects near?
KJ: Yes, we have a project. It is coming out in July and we, currently, have a bunch of other work to do.
CWN: You got a star on Miami Walk. How do you feel about that?
KJ: I think is great! It’s awesome! It will be an honor; I am excited to be part of North Miami, I moved down to Florida, I moved to the East Coast again I missed it so much. I am excited to get down and to get it. I want to be a part of all that.
CWN: Can you share about your participation in “Little Boy” the movie. Which will be in theaters soon with the performance and production of Eduardo Verastegui?
KJ: It’s not a comedy, but I like this experience, I know this guy, and he asked me to play in a little part of that and I’m in a little part of it. They are such good moviemakers and I wanted to help them out.Kevin James invited the audience to watch the movie: “Hola familia! Hola amigos! Come and see the movie on April 17th, all on board. Mall Cop 2 gives me a big one. Thank you and bring the family, bring the kid, and bring everybody.”
